Luís Nuno Coelho Dias, born in Porto (September 20, 1971), holds a PhD in Design from the University of Aveiro. He also holds a Master’s in Multimedia Design and a degree in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. He has been lecturing at the University of Aveiro since 1999, for several project and interaction design subjects in the Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral design degrees and in the Bachelor’s degree of New Communication Technologies of the University of Aveiro. He has been director of the Bachelor’s degree in Design since 2013. He has developed several projects in the area of communication, identity and interaction design. He is a researcher at the Research Institute for Media Design and Culture (ID +) in the areas of interaction design and experience design, with a special focus on the phenomenological approach and emerging paradigms of body interaction.
Margarida Madeira was born in Canas de Senhorim, Portugal in 1987. She studied communication design at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, and it was during an exchange year in Poland that her interest in character animation was aroused.
