CINANIMA Junior is an initiative of the Educational Service that begins after the annual Festival and runs from January 15 to June 30. It offers high-quality animated film sessions featuring auteur works, selected from films submitted to the Festival competition in the previous year, and operates under the regulations outlined on this page. Launched in 2014, it has the institutional support of the National Cinema Plan.

What it offers: Three film programs tailored to three educational levels/age groups:

• Children – Elementary School (ages 3 to 9)
• Adolescents – Middle School (ages 10 to 14)
• Young Adults – Secondary School (≥15 years)
