In the 2023 and 2024 school years, the invited animation filmmaker was Joana Nogueira, who gave presentations to lower secondary and upper secondary students from several school clusters. In her talk, entitled “From Sculpture to Animated Film – A Reality as a Visual Artist”, Nogueira discussed her professional journey, which, although multifaceted, converges around a common ground as a visual artist. The sessions also included screenings of her films, behind-the-scenes images from her numerous projects, and the introduction of materials and objects that had been used in the films she contributed to.

In 2025, the presentations were delivered by filmmakers Ema Lavrador and Leonor Faria Henriques, who shared insights into their professional paths from both technical and creative perspectives.
