About Educational Service ​

The primary goal of the CINANIMA – International Animated Film Festival of Espinho’s Educational Serviceis to promote non-formal education among a large audience while encouraging a passion for animated films. alargado.

We are committed to maintaining the rich history and extensive expertise that CINANIMA has accumulated over the years, through which great international and national personalities have passed—some of whom began their professional careers here. Throughout the festival, we have planned workshops, masterclasses, and film screenings for children and young people. Throughout the year, we work with schools and teachers, supporting the development of transdisciplinary pedagogical projects in animated cinema that materialise in meaningful teaching and learning processes for the students.

We aim to encourage debate through the creative and interdisciplinary language of animated cinema. We want to learn new ways of thinking, seeing, and communicating.
